Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a PSA Service Sales Rep - Fire to grow planned service agreements for commercial properties. You will develop new business and expand relationships by understanding client needs and presenting the right service solutions.

You will conduct building surveys, prepare estimates, and build compelling proposals while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce. This role emphasizes accountability, teamwork with operations, and meeting sales plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or service agreement sales in a commercial setting.
• Ability to sell technical or facility-related solutions based on customer needs.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler or related services.
• Ability to conduct building surveys, prepare estimates, and support proposal development.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and maintaining sales records.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell planned service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, and inspections.
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of service contracts.
• Develop relationships and build trust through follow-up and professional communication.
• Identify customer needs and create a sales strategy that matches the building, account, and service opportunity.
• Close sales to meet plan objectives and manage a healthy proposal backlog.
• Conduct building surveys to support estimates and develop accurate sales proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, expenses, and competitive activity; submit reports on time.
