Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Systems Sales Representative to promote and sell Fire Safety Systems within an assigned territory. You will professionally represent Johnson Controls and drive sales to meet quotas, while building strong relationships with customers and end users.

The role requires prospecting, conducting seminars and demonstrations, developing proposals, and delivering compelling presentations to close business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience in Electronic or similar industry.
• Good oral and written communication skills and sales techniques.
• Ability to obtain appropriate licenses required by national, state and local codes.
• Self-motivation with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Fire Safety Systems to customers in assigned territory.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and schedule sales calls.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
• Deliver sales against an assigned quota and maintain accounts.
• Attend trade shows and product demonstrations to boost sales.
• Provide weekly/monthly progress reports to operations and corporate teams.
