Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Fire Systems Sales Representative to promote and sell fire safety systems to customers within an assigned territory and accounts.

You will establish contact with prospects, develop sales strategies, present proposals, and close deals, coordinating with district operations to ensure service delivery and achieve quotas. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or engineering (or equivalent) with at least three years of sales experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience in electronic or similar industry.
• Good oral and written communication skills and sales techniques.
• Ability to persuade and close sales.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell fire safety systems to customers and end users within an assigned territory.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, and schedule sales calls.
• Develop sales strategy, prepare proposals, and deliver presentations to close deals.
• Coordinate with district operations to deliver and improve service delivery.
• Deliver sales against an assigned quota and maintain accounts with follow-up.
