Job summary

FSS Technologies in Michigan is seeking a Project Sales Representative for Fire Sprinkler Systems to design, propose, and close fire sprinkler projects, ensuring NFPA standards and local compliance. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through the complex world of fire protection solutions.

The role focuses on growing new business, maintaining relationships, coordinating with operations, and staying current with NFPA codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven sales experience in fire sprinkler systems or life safety industries.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 and NFPA 25
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and hydraulic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to design compliant fire sprinkler solutions.
• Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and presentations to decision-makers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to project close.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and installation teams for smooth handoffs.
• Stay current on NFPA codes and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM system.
