Job summary

Fire Safety and Protection (FSP) is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue through proactive client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and marketing alignment across branches. Focus areas include securing recurring service contracts and cross-selling to commercial clients.

You will build a strong pipeline, travel as needed, and collaborate with operations to ensure compliant, value-driven solutions across industrial, office, healthcare, and retail sectors.

Qualifications

• Identify and secure new commercial fire safety clients (inspections, installs, maintenance).
• Build a steady pipeline via cold outreach, site visits, networking, referrals.
• Nurture relationships with property managers, facility leaders, contractors, and partners.
• Target high-value verticals: industrial, offices, healthcare, retail, restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and secure new commercial clients for fire safety inspections, system installations, maintenance contracts, and related services.
• Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline through prospecting methods including cold outreach, site visits, networking, referrals, and data analysis.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders such as property managers, facility leaders, general contractors, and industry partners.
• Target high-value verticals such as industrial facilities, commercial offices, healthcare, retail, restaurants, and multi-location organizations.
• Increase average customer value from $3,500 to $5,000+ through new acquisitions.
• Target $10M in new customer revenue annually.
