Job summary

Thompson Safety is seeking a Fire Sales Specialist to develop new business and lead generation within the assigned territory, building a robust pipeline and driving growth for the company.

You will contact prospects via calls and meetings, document activity in the CRM, and collaborate with marketing to maximize opportunities, while maintaining compliance with fire protection and life safety standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred and/or success in other sales/service positions at Thompson Safety.
• Familiar with codes, products attributes, and procedures within the fire protection and life safety fields.
• General awareness of business, financials, sales, and safety principles.
• Strong ability to utilize technology to increase the prospecting experience.
• Strong ability to prospect, close, and build rapport with prospects.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• Maintains a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and ability pass a drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Company in developing new business opportunities through cold calls and leads.
• Utilizes CRM technology to document activity and track results.
• Maintains contact with prospects through sales calls and phone block.
• Develops new appointments through scheduled phone sessions to ensure activity and pipeline.
• Assists in Company marketing programs/initiatives.
• Contacts potential customers to initiate the sales process and win the business.
• Observes and benchmarks other Fire Sales Specialists to establish and replicate best practices.
• Consistently installs new business within assigned geography.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
