Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our product and service portfolio with current and new clients. You will identify prospective customers, develop relationships, and tailor solutions to meet needs.

Travel is required and you will maintain detailed sales reports, provide forecasts, and collaborate with marketing to target markets. A bachelor's degree or 5+ years' experience is preferred, along with strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field; or at least five years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify product needs and suggests solutions.
• Demonstrates product functions and value based on customer needs.
• Maintains customer relationships and resolves post-sale issues.
• Keeps detailed reports of sales activities and forecasts territory.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
