Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Las Vegas is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Exit Lights, and pre-engineered suppression systems, including Detection & Control systems.

The role requires knowledge of NFPA codes, travel up to 90%, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to travel 90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and/or repair Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Exit Lights and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components of suppression systems and related detection/control systems.
• Use required tools and test equipment to repair or replace components.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and coordinate with field teams.
• Adhere to SFS’s safety program and participate in safety trainings and toolbox talks.
