Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in the United States is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, emergency exit lights and pre-engineered suppression systems, with a focus on safety and compliance. The role requires knowledge of NFPA codes, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel to job sites while maintaining documentation and customer communication.

A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Fire Life Safety industry experience, specifically in Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, and repair fire extinguishers, exit lights, and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and identify defective components in suppression systems.
• Maintain documentation on work orders and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Travel to job sites as required; communicate with customers professionally.
