Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, service and repair extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, and detection & control systems with minimal supervision.

You will use specialized tools and test equipment, troubleshoot components, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards while documenting all work orders. A valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively are required.

Qualifications

• 2 Fire Life Safety Industry experience specifically within Fire Suppression.
• 2 years of professional computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service and repair fire extinguishers, pre-engineered suppression systems and detection & control systems.
• Use required tools and test equipment to repair or replace components.
• Troubleshoot defective components and perform repairs or replacements.
• Complete and document work orders; maintain safety and compliance with NFPA codes.
• Travel up to 90% and maintain vehicle and safety documentation.
