Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Service Sales Representative to call on new and existing customers, survey needs, quote, and sell our fire protection products, systems, and services; you will coordinate with the Service Department to schedule work after sale.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred) and 2+ years of B2B outside sales; experience in fire and life safety is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of proven work experience in B2B outside sales.
• Experience in fire and life safety industry is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn, interpret and apply local fire codes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling calls and educating customers.
• Maintain records of sales calls and related activities.
• Submit sales reports and expenses in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
• Close sales to meet assigned sales goals.
• Coordinate with Service Department for work scheduling after sale.
