Job summary

Hiller Companies, a leading fire protection provider, seeks a Service Sales Representative to drive growth with new and existing customers in the Birmingham area. You will survey needs, promote our offerings, quote services, and close deals, while coordinating with service teams to schedule work.

A strong emphasis on value-based selling and building long-term customer relationships is essential. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of B2B outside sales, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of successful end-user B2B outside sales experience, preferably in service sales.
• Demonstrated ability to close sales based on value, not price.
• Experience in fire and life safety industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our fire protection offerings.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales calls and related activities.
• Submit sales reports and expenses in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
• Close sales to meet assigned sales goals.
• Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform.
• Coordinate with the Service Department to schedule work after sale.
