Job summary

The Hiller Companies is seeking a New Service Seller to drive growth by surveying, promoting, quoting, and selling our fire protection products, systems, and services. You will qualify service-contract opportunities, maintain detailed sales records, and coordinate with the Service Department to schedule work after closing deals.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of B2B outside sales in fire/life safety, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire and life safety industry, ideally in a service sales capacity.
• Typically 3–5 years of successful B2B outside sales; service sales preferred.
• Must have High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred with 2+ years of work experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales calls and activities; submit forecasts and expenses promptly.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account; close sales to goals.
• Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform and coordinate with the Service Department for scheduled work.
