Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to deliver design services on multi-discipline facilities for commercial and government clients. Role emphasizes project execution, coordination with architects and other engineers, and senior supervision for design development and construction documents.

The position offers a hybrid schedule in a client-focused environment with competitive hourly compensation ($48-52/hour), plus rich benefits and ESOP.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Fire Protection Engineering or higher degree preferred.
• Fully licensed Fire Protection Engineer in at least one US state.
• 4+ years as lead designer/Fire Protection Engineer on federal, state, healthcare, or similar projects; CM/DB delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection design services from conceptual to construction documents under supervision.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline design teams and clients to validate scope.
• Prepare marketing and presentation materials as directed.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and resolve technical issues.
• Supervise junior staff and mentor professional development.
• Coordinate RFI responses and QA/QC on projects.
