Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- Must be a fully licensed Fire Protection Engineer in at least one US state or jurisdiction.
- 4+ years of experience as a lead designer or Fire Protection Engineer in federal, state, municipal, healthcare, commercial, higher education or similar projects with Design/Build or CM at Risk.
Responsibilities
- Perform fire protection design services from conceptual studies to construction documents under supervision.
- Work on a multi-discipline design team and coordinate with clients to define scope.
- Direct and supervise junior fire protection staff and mentor their professional development.
- Prepare scope and fee proposals for the fire protection portions of projects.
- Respond to RFIs, reviews of submittals, and coordinate with other disciplines.
