Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering or related field (ABET-accredited).
• Licensed Fire Protection Engineer in at least one US state, preferably local jurisdiction.
• 4+ years as lead designer/engineer in public, healthcare, commercial, or government projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection design across multi-discipline building projects.
• Lead and mentor junior staff; coordinate with architects and other disciplines.
• Prepare scope, fee proposals, and ensure QA/QC and adherence to project budgets/schedules.
• Review calculations, drawings, and specifications; respond to RFIs and submittals.
• Participate in client meetings and develop project documentation.
