Job summary

Clark Nexsen is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to execute fire protection design for multi-discipline building projects for commercial and government facilities. The role focuses on project execution under senior engineers and department leadership.

You will work within a collaborative team, meeting clients, developing scope, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and construction teams. A BS in Fire Protection Engineering and a PE license in at least one US state are preferred; 4+

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• Post-graduate degree in Fire Protection Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection design across multi-discipline projects.
• Lead design on commercial and government facilities.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers.
• Prepare scope of work and client communications.
• Review drawings, calculations, and specs.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise staff.
• Support QA/QC and adhere to budgets/schedules.
