Job summary

Stantec is seeking Fire Protection Engineers to join our North America Fire Protection Engineering Team. You will design fire protection systems, analyze fire scenarios and develop drawings and specifications using CAD/BIM tools.

Collaboration with internal teams and clients is essential for successful project delivery. The role requires a BS in Fire Protection Engineering with 4+ years of experience and PE licensure or pursuit.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• Four+ years of experience; PE licensure or pursuing licensure.
• Knowledge of building and NFPA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems and analyze fire scenarios.
• Prepare designs, drawings, specs and reports.
• Coordinate with architecture and engineering teams.
• Support construction through submittals and site reviews.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
