Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Fire Protection Design Manager to oversee design/BIM for our sprinkler projects. You will supervise designers, review NFPA-compliant drawings, and ensure timely project delivery.

Qualified candidates have 5–7 years of fire protection design experience, prior supervisory experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD and CAD workflows; NICET II is preferred. Relocation assistance is provided and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in fire protection designer or equivalent
• Prior supervisor/management experience
• Proficient in Windows-based CAD, AutoCAD design software or other fire protection design software

Responsibilities

• Oversee design/BIM aspects of new construction sprinkler projects
• Review NFPA codes and project specifications for drawings and submittals
• Coordinate material orders, vendor invoices, and field coordination; supervise designers
