Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Design Manager to oversee design/BIM for new construction sprinkler projects at our Richmond HQ. Candidates should have 5–7 years of fire protection design experience and strong leadership skills.

Relocation to the Richmond area is offered, with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Initial remote work may be possible, but relocation to the HQ will be required for ongoing duties.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in fire protection design or related field.
• Ability to interpret architect drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Windows-based CAD and fire protection design software.

Responsibilities

• Manage design/BIM for sprinkler projects and delegate to team members.
• Review NFPA codes, project specifications, and material submittals.
• Coordinate material delivery with customers and field staff.
• Supervise designers and ensure schedules are met.
• Coordinate permit processes with AHJ and review shop drawings.
