Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a skilled service technician to diagnose and repair Fire & Life Safety systems on customer sites, including panel repair and low voltage troubleshooting. You will read blueprints, follow manuals, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires experience with fire safety systems, strong communication, physical stamina, and a valid driver’s license. On-call rotations and occasional overnight travel may be required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals, manuals and equipment sheets.
• NICET II certification strongly preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel overnight and work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Receive service calls and ascertain equipment problems at customer sites.
• Diagnose, repair, and service fire alarm and related building systems.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair.
• Maintain customer service standards and complete service documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and mentor junior team members.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to improve facility efficiency.
