Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate and optimize service work, ensuring commitments are met and issues are resolved promptly. The role uses an AI scheduling platform to allocate technician time, communicate with customers, and adjust plans in response to daily changes.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service experience, excellent communication, and solid Excel skills. A fast-paced environment and knowledge of life safety products are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years customer service experience
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Expert organizational skills
• Experience coordinating/scheduling in a service-related industry
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Associates or Bachelors preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Use of Oracle systems preferred
• Product knowledge of life safety equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule and optimize service work to meet customer commitments.
• Use SE D U AI Scheduling Platform to create technician schedules and adjust daily activities.
• Communicate with customers and personnel to resolve scheduling issues.
• Identify improvements, monitor branch activity, and implement action plans.
• Prioritize backorders and reassign work based on workload and priorities.
