El Pollo Loco in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Shift Leader to guide the team and ensure fast, friendly service during your shift. You’ll oversee daily restaurant operations, support the General Manager, and keep with brand standards.

You’ll manage opening/closing, inventory, guest interactions, and safety compliance while coaching teammates on new menu items and procedures. The role offers growth opportunities, flexible scheduling, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience preferred.
• Pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures, including security; coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep, and cleaning; conduct inventory checks and update the inventory system.
• Ensure service speed and cleanliness meet company goals; maintain health and safety standards; adhere to QSC practices.
• Prioritize tasks and adjust staffing based on sales volume; communicate breaks and provide coverage as needed.
• Train and support team members on new products and procedures.
• Oversee cash handling: assign registers, verify deposits, and conduct safe audits; coordinate with Area Leader for procedures.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to ensure a positive experience.
