El Pollo Loco in Las Vegas is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, reporting to the General Manager when unavailable. You will lead a team, ensure fast, friendly service, and uphold safety and quality standards during your shift.

The role emphasizes training and supporting staff on new products and procedures, managing opening/closing tasks, and maintaining inventory and cash procedures with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or must have 1 or more years of restaurant supervisory experience and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class after hire.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures, including security protocols.
• Coordinate crew tasks for setup, food prep, and cleaning; conduct inventory checks and update inventory system.
• Handle food deliveries, ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
• Ensure customer service and speed of service metrics meet company goals and standards; maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety standards.
• Supervise shift staffing, breaks, and adjust shift staffing based on sales volume.
• Train and support team members on new products and procedures.
• Oversee cash registers, phone calls, catering orders, and company funds; perform safe cash drawer audits and deposits.
• Greet and assist customers to meet expectations and satisfaction.
