Job summary

Dinges Fire Company in Indiana is seeking a skilled sales representative to develop and manage a Fire and EMT equipment sales territory. You will plan action strategies, schedule calls, and present products to new and existing customers to drive growth.

All salespersons operate as 1099 independent contractors with commissions based on gross profit, offering substantial earning potential and flexibility. Firefighting knowledge is a strong asset; prior sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out sales activities on assigned accounts or areas.
• Develop relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers in designated territory.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Schedule sales activity and calls to customers.
• Present company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email or in person and follow up on activities.
• Monitor and report on sales activities for management.
