Job summary

DFC seeks driven sales professionals in Iowa to plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts. You will build relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers, deliver presentations, negotiate, and close proposals. This role operates as a 1099 independent contractor with commissions based on gross profit.

Most reps are firefighters; while not mandatory, industry knowledge is highly beneficial. Territory ownership and strong earning potential are emphasized in this opportunity.

Qualifications

• 1199 independent contractors acting as sales reps.
• Commission-based pay with no base salary, tied to gross profit per sale.

Responsibilities

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
