Dinges Fire Company is seeking a part-time sales representative to plan and carry out all sales activities in assigned territories, building relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers. You will aim to ensure customer satisfaction and promote the company’s fire service products and services.

All salespersons are independent contractors earning commissions with unlimited potential, roughly 40% of gross profit on each sale, with flexibility to balance a second income and field responsibilities

Qualifications

• knowledge of fire service equipment
• knowledge of basic computer applications
• knowledge of customer service principles
• knowledge of basic business principles

Responsabilités

• prepare sales action plans and strategies
• schedule sales activity
• make sales calls to new and existing customers
• develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• negotiate with clients
• develop sales proposals
• respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• follow up on sales activity
• monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• participate in sales events and training
