Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, repair, and service Fire and Life Safety systems at customer sites. You will read diagrams and manuals, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with timely service.

The role requires handling diverse equipment, working on site, and participating in on-call rotations. Competitive benefits and training accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls from Service Resource Center and ascertain equipment problems.
• Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems at customer sites.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures and reference manuals to repair equipment.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to support repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and proper documentation upon task completion.
