Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced field service technician to diagnose and repair fire alarm and related building systems at customer sites. You will interpret blueprints, read specifications, and follow prescribed procedures to restore operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams, and read specifications.
• Strong computer literacy and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage service calls from the Service Resource Center and identify malfunctions.
• Contact customer representatives and diagnose equipment or systems problems.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm, security, and related building systems at customer sites.
• Follow manuals and bulletins to repair equipment; read blueprints and diagrams.
• Provide high-quality customer service and timely documentation of work performed.
