Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced service technician to diagnose, repair, and install Fire & Life Safety systems at customer sites. You will read blueprints, interpret manuals, and program panels while delivering exceptional customer service and accurate documentation.

On-call work and occasional mentoring of teammates are included in this role. The position requires 4+ years in low voltage systems, a high school diploma, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in low voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals, manuals, and specs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; NICET II preferred.
• Follow verbal and written instructions; perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage service calls from the Resource Center.
• Diagnose and repair fire/life safety systems at customer sites.
• Interpret blueprints and manuals; perform panel programming as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and document work orders.
• Work on-call and after-hours as required; mentor others on the team.
