Job summary

Siemens Smart Building Internship Program in St. Louis invites students pursuing Electro-Mechanical fields to gain hands-on experience installing, programming, and servicing Fire Alarm Systems and related building automation in commercial environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed or in progress.
• Students currently enrolled in a 2-year Electro-Mechanical/related program.
• Able to work 40 hours per week for a 10-week program (May–August).

Responsibilities

• Spend most time on job sites with Siemens technicians learning installation, programming, and service of Fire Alarm and HVAC systems.
• Assist in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and supporting new installations.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve discrepancies in drawings and address challenges.
• Document service activities and communicate system operations clearly to customers.
