Siemens Mobility invites students to join the Fire Alarm Systems Technician Internship in the Houston, TX area. The program focuses on hands-on field training across installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of building systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a 2-year technical program related to electro-mechanical or fire protection technology.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May–August).
• No relocation or housing stipend.

Responsibilities

• Spend most of your time on job sites with experienced Siemens technicians learning installation, programming, and service of HVAC automation and building systems.
• Collaborate with sales to understand how Siemens designs solutions that improve building performance and safety.
• Rotate through service and project delivery teams to support installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Assist in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and repairs, or supporting new installations and system commissioning.
• Document service activities and communicate with customers and team members to ensure smooth hand‑offs.
