Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Harleysville, PA is offering a Smart Building Internship Program for students pursuing Electro-Mechanical or related fields. Join a hands-on 10-week experience combining field technician work, sales exposure, and project operations to learn how we install, program, service HVAC automation and fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.

You will work 40 hours per week starting June 7, 2027, onsite, with training, shadowing, and hands-on maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• 80% Field Technician Experience: learn to install, program, and service HVAC and building systems on job sites.
• 10% Sales Exposure: observe and assist sales teams to design building solutions.
• 10% Project & Service Operations: rotate with service and project delivery teams.
• Visit customer sites and troubleshoot Fire Alarm and electronic control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Interface with customers to document activities and explain system operations.
