Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Systems Sales Representative for our life safety, security, and fire protection business in Maryland. The role focuses on developing new opportunities by working with contractors and end-users through new construction, renovations, and retrofits within the assigned territory.

You will manage the sales process from prospecting to proposal, demonstrate our value proposition, and build long-term customer relationships to achieve quarterly and annual

Qualifications

• Two to five years meeting or exceeding quotas selling fire alarm systems to contractors and end users.
• Strong prospecting skills and ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling.
• Ability to read drawings and understand codes relevant to fire alarm systems.
• Willingness to travel by air or ground as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sell fire alarm, fire protection systems and related systems to contractors and end-users.
• Meet annual quota and provide accurate forecasts.
• Develop new market share by attracting new customers within the assigned territory.
• Build relationships with customers through consultative selling and demonstrate value proposition.
• Prepare proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations for customers.
