Job summary

The Hiller Companies is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues and document results for customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, NICET preferred, a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites. Experience in commercial/industrial settings and strong safety mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET certification preferred.
• Experience with fire alarm systems, NFPA codes and industry standards.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of components and prepare inspection reports.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, perform repairs and document findings clearly.
• Respond to service calls promptly and coordinate with customers and teams.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and compliance on job sites.
