Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and regulatory standards. You will document findings, prepare repair estimates and support customers with system improvements.

Ideal candidates have NICET or equivalent licensing, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed. A dedicated safety-conscious professional will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and repair fire alarm systems per NFPA standards.
• Prepare inspection reports and document deficiencies.
• Respond to service calls and restore system functionality.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and battery replacements.
• Provide clear estimates and client communication.
• Maintain neat records of services via ServiceTrade.
• Coordinate with coordination teams to optimize scheduling.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
