The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear recommendations to customers, ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NICET Certifications strongly preferred.
• State Fire Alarm licensing preferred, or ability to acquire.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform repairs to wiring, devices and software.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to restore system functionality.
• Document all service activities using the ServiceTrade platform.
• Coordinate with Deficiency Sellers and Service Coordinators to prepare repair estimates and schedule work.
• Interact professionally with clients to discuss findings and recommendations for upgrades.
