Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems. You will prepare detailed reports, diagnose issues, and provide expert recommendations to customers.

Responsibilities include routine testing, troubleshooting, on-site service, and coordination with teams to ensure safety and system reliability. Requires high school diploma and technical training, with NICET preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and relevant technical training.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, codes and standards.
• Experience with diagnosis, repair and testing of fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm systems per industry standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and manage deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform system repairs on wiring and devices.
• Respond to service calls and emergencies to restore functionality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document activities thoroughly.
• Coordinate with customers and teams for reports and estimates.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and work in various environments.
