Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm systems at customer sites. You will work on multi-manufacturer life-safety systems, read schematics and manuals, and communicate with customers to ensure high service quality.

You will participate in an on-call rotation, support team members, and provide accurate service documentation while upholding safety guidelines and driving customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in low voltage electrical systems including Fire/Life Safety.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• Must retain required licenses as per national, state and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and diagnose system issues on electronic fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install fire and life safety systems at customer sites.
• Read blueprints and manuals to guide service procedures and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and document service activities accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support team members when needed.
• Obtain customer signatures upon completion of service calls.
