Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to support hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and service on critical fire alarm systems for customer sites.

You will diagnose issues, repair electronic systems, and work across multiple manufacturers to restore safety and performance. The role requires strong field service skills, ability to follow manuals, and excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
• NICET Level II certification.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on electronic fire alarm systems at customer sites.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to support service work.
• Provide excellent customer service and document work using mobile devices.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and support team members as needed.
