Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service electronic fire alarm systems at customer sites. You will work across multiple manufacturers, diagnosing issues, and restoring systems promptly and safely.

Responsibilities include handling service calls, documenting work, and communicating with customers. A high school diploma and low voltage experience are required, with on-call rotation and occasional heavy lifting expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety.
• Ability to read blueprints, submittals, and manuals.
• Comfort with customer interaction and on-site service.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receive and diagnose service calls for electronic fire alarm systems.
• Repair and service on-site at customer sites, across multiple manufacturers.
• Read diagrams and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Provide accurate service documentation and customer communication.
