Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Life Safety Systems Sales Rep in Austin, TX to promote Fire/Life Safety Systems, build customer relationships, and drive new business within an assigned territory.

You will qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close. The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience in electronics or related field, strong communication skills, and a self-driven, organized approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in electronic or similar industry.
• Strong motivation and drive to meet sales targets.
• Ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities.
• High degree of self-discipline.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong sales techniques.
• Ability to persuade and close sales.
• Self-motivation with good organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain licenses required by codes.

Responsabilités

• Represent the company in promoting and selling Fire/Life Safety Systems to customers and end users within an assigned territory.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, schedule calls, and follow up on leads.
• Develop a sales strategy to build understanding of offerings and maintain territory records.
• Conduct seminars, demonstrations, and other activities to generate and qualify leads.
• Prepare proposals and financial justifications, and follow up to close sales.
• Interface with district operations to support service delivery and growth.
• Maintain accounts with regular customer contact for follow-on sales.
• Report progress with weekly and monthly metrics to operations and corporate teams.
• Participate in trade shows and events to increase sales and company image.
