Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Life Safety Systems Representative – Fire Alarm to join our team in Utah. You will promote and sell fire safety systems to contractors and end users within an assigned territory, building strong relationships and delivering value.

You will establish contact with prospects, qualify leads, and drive sales through presentations, proposals, and coordinated service delivery with district operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electronic systems sales or related field
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Licensing/code compliance awareness as required by local laws

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Fire Alarm systems to contractors and end users within an assigned territory.
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify buyers.
• Develop sales strategy and maintain territory records.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to generate and qualify leads.
• Prepare proposals, make presentations, and follow up for closing the sale.
• Coordinate with district operations to deliver and improve service.
• Deliver sales against an assigned quota.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact.
