Sciens Building Solutions seeks a Fire Alarm Inspector to perform inspections and maintenance, coordinating with sales, field teams, and clients to ensure NFPA-compliant testing and upkeep of fire alarm systems across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will review layouts, produce field surveys, maintain detailed inspection records, and manage schedules to meet deadlines and budgets, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of inspector technician experience in fire detection and protection.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and IFC fire codes.
• Ability to read technical drawings/diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems and service departments for testing and inspection.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Produce inspection and deficiency reports per NFPA.
• Manage scheduling and progress to meet schedule and budget.
• Log and transmit inspection reports via technical devices.
• Oversee project inventory and vehicle inventory.
• Provide guidance to other inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and Sciens safety policies.
