Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to perform inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems, ensuring code compliance and high-quality execution. You will collaborate with sales, field teams, and clients to deliver accurate testing, reporting, and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in an inspector technician role within fire detection and protection.
• Knowledge of current fire alarm and clean agent/special hazard fire suppression systems.
• NICET Level I.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and IFC or state fire code requirements.
• Ability to read technical drawings/diagrams and follow specifications.
• Physically capable of demanding work (lifting up to 25–50 lbs, heights).
• OSHA safety standards knowledge; able to obtain OSHA 10.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems and service departments for testing and inspection.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Prepare inspection and deficiency reports per NFPA.
• Deliver and test on schedule and within budgets.
• Log and transmit inspection reports via technical devices.
• Oversee project inventory and vehicle inventory.
• Work under tight deadlines, maintaining quality.
