Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years in an inspector technician role in fire detection/protection.
• NICET Level I certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and IFC fire code requirements.
• Ability to read technical drawings/diagrams and follow specs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review system layouts and coordinate with systems/service teams.
• Produce field surveys and daily project logs.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Create detailed inspection and deficiency reports per NFPA.
• Deliver and test on schedule within budgets.
• Log and transmit inspection reports via technical devices.
• Oversee inventory including vehicles.
• Schedule and track job progress efficiently.
• Adhere to safety standards and Sciens policies.
• Provide guidance to other inspectors.
