Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Operations to join the Dasher Financial team. You will shape strategy, own execution, and build the P&L for a new fintech product line from incubation to scale.

This role focuses on lending and credit opportunities and requires leadership across Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and Marketing to turn vision into execution. You will operate like a GM-in-training in a high-growth fintech setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-growth environments (tech, fintech, strategy & ops, consulting, or banking).
• Track record of taking ambiguous problems and turning them into scaled outcomes.
• Ability to structure vague problems and use data to decide what to do (comfortable with SQL/Excel).
• Curious and entrepreneurial, channelling drive into smart bets and clear priorities in zero-to-one environments.
• Ability to flex between high-level strategy and ground-level execution, owning outcomes.
• Active seeking of feedback and quick adjustment as a competitive advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new product opportunities, size the market, and build the business case.
• Design and run experiments to validate user demand.
• Own day-to-day execution and work cross-functionally to take ideas from concept to launch.
• Define success metrics and be accountable for business outcomes.
• Scale promising products into sustainable businesses that improve Dashers’ financial health.
• Strategize: Develop the roadmap for new fintech bets and shape how DoorDash serves gig workers financially.
• Own: Take full ownership of a product line, from metrics to operations to user adoption.
• Influence: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and Marketing to turn vision into execution.
• Experiment & scale: Launch MVPs, measure user behavior, iterate quickly, and scale the ones that work.
• Grow as a GM: Build the skills to run a full business line within one of DoorDash’s highest-potential growth areas.
