Job summary

DoorDash’s Dasher Financial team is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Operations to build new fintech bets from the ground up. You will act like a GM-in-training, shaping strategy, owning execution, and building the P&L for a new product line focused on lending and credit.

You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and Marketing to test hypotheses, scale MVPs, and turn vision into execution, with end-to-end ownership in a high-growth fintech environment.

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience in high-growth environments (tech, fintech, strategy & ops, consulting, or banking).
• You have a track record of taking ambiguous problems and turning them into scaled outcomes.
• You can take a vague, undefined problem and structure it yourself — without waiting for a framework — and use data to decide what to do (comfortable with SQL/Excel).
• You are curious and entrepreneurial, and you channel that drive into smart bets and clear priorities in zero-to-one environments.
• You can flex between high-level strategy and ground-level execution, and you take true ownership of outcomes — you make the calls and are accountable for how they turn out, not just for supporting the work.
• You actively seek feedback and adjust quickly — you treat learning fast as a competitive advantage.
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new product opportunities, size the market, and build the business case.
• Design and run experiments to validate user demand.
• Own day-to-day execution and work cross-functionally to take ideas from concept to launch.
• Define success metrics and be accountable for business outcomes.
• Scale promising products into sustainable businesses that improve Dashers’ financial health.
