Job summary

MVB Bank, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manager, Fintech Pricing Strategy & Economics to develop and execute profitability strategy for the Fintech division.

You will act as the primary finance expert on client profitability, pricing structures, and financial terms, guiding senior leaders and collaborating across the organization to optimize unit economics and revenue sharing. The role partners with the Head of Business Development and the Chief Deposit Officer to refine Fintech strategy,

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 7+ years of banking and Fintech experience.
• Ability to construct complex Excel models.
• Knowledge of banking economics, deposit pricing, earnings credit, and NIM drivers.
• Familiarity with Banking as a Service (BaaS) and payments business models.
• Familiarity with sponsor bank economics.
• Experience forecasting and analyzing unit economics and partner performance.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and influence executives.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Own Fintech profitability strategy and establish methodology, thresholds, and return requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projections for client profitability.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for Fintech clients including fee structures, deposits, income sharing, terms.
• Lead Finance review in initial client evaluations and present to Fintech Oversight Committee.
• Communicate strategy and pricing to Fintech team and during renegotiations.
• Collaborate with senior Fintech leaders on strategy development.
• Serve as liaison for Fintech finance with vendors, auditors, and sponsor banks.
• Ensure data quality for unit economics and partner performance analysis.
• Provide guidance to Fintech and Finance teams on work products.
