Job summary

MVB Bank, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Fintech Pricing Strategy & Economics to lead profitability strategy, pricing methodologies, and financial analysis for the Fintech division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant banking and Fintech experience.
• Ability to build complex Excel models and forecast profitability.
• Understanding of banking economics, including deposit pricing and NIM.
• Familiarity with Banking as a Service (BaaS) and sponsor bank economics.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills and data analysis capability.

Responsibilities

• Own Fintech profitability strategy, including methodology and return requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess client profitability.
• Prepare pricing recommendations for Fintech clients (fees, deposits, terms).
• Lead Finance review during initial client evaluation and present to committees.
• Communicate pricing requirements to Fintech team during discussions and renegotiations.
• Maintain relationships with Fintech personnel and ensure financial objectives alignment.
• Participate in client meetings and negotiations to discuss financial requirements.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on Fintech strategy development.
• Serve as liaison for Fintech Finance with external parties and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure data for unit economics and partner performance is accurate and timely.
• Participate in ALCO, Finance Committee, and other relevant committees.
• Provide strategic financial input on balance sheet, liquidity, and capital for Fintech.
• Maintain Fintech profitability models and reporting.
• Develop budgeting assumptions for Fintech in the overall budget.
• Prepare rolling 24-month forecast and communicate assumptions to senior management.
• Support FP&A projects and guide Fintech and Finance staff.
